Concluding Chapter 2

Throughout this chapter, I have learned about several jewellery artists that create organic contemporary jewellery. Most of the artists that I have looked at use their jewellery as a form of metaphor or self-representation and they have looked at the natural world for inspiration. Although these artists exhibit different characteristics that I would like to reflect on my own work, each of them have unique methods, techniques and styles in which their jewellery is created. I have looked at their unique characteristics to aid me in developing my own style of jewellery.
